IQOS Protect Plus™ System

Protection and reliability are the ideas behind the robust outer shell to improve shock resistance, a longer battery lifespan, and a newly designed door opening for improved reliability.

Innovative technology is used in the turquoise IQOS Originals DUO heated tobacco device to warm tobacco without burning it, giving you the true tobacco flavor with less smoke, ash, and odor. This is ideal for smokers who want the closest available smoking alternative but are worried about their health and don’t want to vape. The Navy IQOS heats the miniature tobacco sticks, or HEETS, to 350 degrees, as opposed to a conventional cigarette’s burning temperature of 800 degrees, creating smoke vapour instead of traditional smoke. The HEETS mini tobacco sticks are heated by the new “heat-not-burn” technology, but they are not actually burned.

As a result, when compared to cigarette smoke, the levels of toxicity and dangerous chemicals in tobacco IQOS vapour are typically reduced by 90% to 95%. The IQOS Originals DUO also emits no smoke or ash and has a significantly reduced fragrance. Additionally, since it isn’t lit tobacco, it is permitted for use indoors and gets around the ban on smoking (where permitted).
